Responsibilities:

• Design and configure technically complex building control systems as defined by the contract documents.

• Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics.

• Develop system design including defining areas, rooms, controlled zones/circuits, user interface devices and control equipment to produce a bill of materials and programming requirements.

• Review and Validation of high-level design (incl. SLD), Schematics, Goods for Construction (BoQ) for each of the sub system.

• Performing a technical review of IFC drawings, contractor electrical/technical submittals such as material submittal

• Design calculations, pre-qualification submittal, testing and commissioning procedure, shop drawings, value engineering proposals and RFI’s

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)

• Designing wired and wireless Power over Ethernet (PoE) and DALI lighting control System, design simulation using platform such as Visual Control (VC), Revit, Navis3D, COMcheck, AutoCad including DiaLux 4.12 for preparing photometric design.

• Analyze, design, test/evaluate light fixtures and control circuits associated with advanced lighting technologies.

• Carry out electrical design calculation including connected and maximum demand load calculations, applicable diversity and demand factors, Circuit breakers, Panels and feeder cable sizing, Single Line Diagrams, DB schedule, Cable Schedule, Compliance reports, short circuit analysis and voltage drop calculations.

• Preparing Revit 3D BIM modeling with add ins like SysQue, DM Electric, Layout Fast.

• Validating the vendor design by complying the codes such as Title-24, WSEC, NEC,NFPA, IEEE, IEC, BS, ANSI and IECC standards

• Preparation of Technical Specifications for various electrical equipment such as transformers, bus ducts, UPS, Inverters, DG set, switchgears, H.T, L.T, L.V cables, earthing, surge arresters, Panels, Lighting, capacitor bank, Bus Bars, RMU's etc., using various national & international standards such as IEC, NEC & IEEE
